• Ibis Perth is just 300m from the Murray and Hay Street malls. Guests can enjoy modern, comfortable rooms along with on-site dining and a lively bar.

Saturday

Rise and shine and enjoy a big day out exploring the city and Swan River. From e-scooters to bikes, and even kayaks, About Bike Hire has plenty of options including, tandem bikes! A bicycle that's made for two is a perfect mode of transport for a romantic weekend. It's also cheaper than hiring two separate bikes - that’s smart saving! The popular Swan River Loop is a delightful 10 km loop around the Swan River that takes you past Elizabeth Quay, Barrack Street Jetty, Riverside Drive and the South Perth Foreshore. 

Head to Elizabeth Quay and enjoy a casual lunch at one of the many taste bud tempting dining options. Think pub grub at the always faithful Lucky Shag, food with a city view at The Island at Elizabeth Quay or insanely huge burgers and adults-only milkshakes at the vibing Milky Lane.

Walk off your lunch with a spot of shopping in and around Perth's malls. You don't need to spend up big – window shopping is just as fun. Browse the boutiques of historic London Court and the Piccadilly Arcade or hit the high street favourites along the Hay Street Mall. Why not take a wander down one of the city's many hidden laneways for a DIY walking tour. Wolf Lane is a great spot to seek out, and it's brimming with huge, vibrant murals by local and international street artists, plus a bar or two.

For a cheap and very cheerful dinner, hop across the Horseshoe Bridge to Northbridge. Head to the rooftop bar at The Standard for a drink, and then chow down on small plates at  No Mafia Pasta e Vino.

Sunday

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, check out of your room and limber up for Lumber Punks Axe Throwing! This fun date-day activity is not just for Vikings and is a great way to show off your throwing skills with a little friendly competition.
