Spring into Waroona: Country Events, Family Fun and Adventure Await
This spring, Waroona comes alive with a packed calendar of events celebrating country life, outdoor adventure and community spirit.
Start the season by the sea at the Preston Beach Spring Fete on Sunday, 27 September, with stalls, food and family fun to kick off the school holiday long weekend. The celebrations continue on Saturday, 3 October, as Waroona Troutfest marks its 10th anniversary at beautiful Drakesbrook Weir, followed by the Waroona Agricultural Show on Saturday, 10 October, with all the fun and charm of a traditional country show.
As the days get longer, experience Waroona after dark at a special Astrotourism event on Saturday, 7 November, where astronomers will guide you through the night sky. Then, round out the season at the inaugural Charla Downs Waroona Rodeo on Saturday, 21 November, with an action-packed day of rodeo followed by live bands and country entertainment into the night.
