Whale Watching in Perth

Humpback Whale Watching Season

WA's Humpback Highway, part of an ancient oceanic migration path, experiences the largest whale migration in the Southern Hemisphere. Each April, around 35,000 whales travel from Antarctica to the Kimberley's warmer waters to raise their young. From September to December, their return journey brings them close to Perth's coast, offering thrilling whale watching opportunities.
