Yanchep

Yanchep is home to intriguing historical sites and some of the state's most pristine and accessible nature reserves, you can explore dunes, limestone cliffs and bushland in stunning national and regional parks.

Cast a line or grab your snorkel and experience the beautiful Yanchep Lagoon or head further north to Two Rocks, a peaceful coastal community with a marina and boat harbour. Several ships have succumbed to treacherous reefs leaving the coastline, just south of Yanchep, scattered with shipwrecks and creating a rich and intriguing maritime history - divers can explore these historic artefacts in an underwater adventure.

Yanchep National Park is a treasure famous for its picnic spots, scenic beauty, walk trails and limestone caves and is only 45 minutes north of Perth City. For an amazing adventure, tour through some of the& hundreds of spectacular caves in the region. The park is also renowned for having one of Australia's largest koala colonies and a superb programme of Aboriginal cultural experiences.

Yanchep sits within the City of Wanneroo, encompassing a diverse stretch of Perth's northern coastal and inland areas, home to many attractions, nature reserves, beaches, and family-friendly experiences waiting to be explored. A 20 minute drive south from Yanchep, is Australia's largest man-made marina  The Marina Mindarie. It's Mediterranean-style boardwalks lead you to high-quality cafés and restaurants, plus a sophisticated microbrewery and family-friendly pub serving sea-fresh fish and chips.
