Little Island Kayak Trail, Hillarys
Launch your kayak from Hillarys Boat Harbour or the nearby beach for a scenic paddle to Little Island, about 2km offshore. Along the way, pass reef patches and enjoy views of the marine sanctuary surrounding the island, home to dolphins, seals, sea birds, and occasionally whales and turtles. Though landing is discouraged to protect wildlife, the waters offer excellent snorkelling especially to the west and south. Bring a small anchor to explore sheltered spots near the outer reef. This peaceful paddle combines adventure with rich marine biodiversity, making it a perfect nature escape just north of Perth.
MAAC Dive and Snorkel Trail, Marmion
The MAAC Dive and Snorkel Trail dive and snorkel trail features 20 informative plinths located on the seafloor to guide your way. The 400 metre trail takes scuba divers and snorkellers on an interactive journey through the clear waters of the marine park, which are often inhabited by a colourful array of fish and marine species.

The 7km Bold Park Bridle return horse trail through Bold Park bushland provides a rare opportunity to experience relative ‘wilderness’ in Perth’s urban area. With over fifteen kilometres of walking and bridle trails and ten different lookouts with expansive city and coastal views, Bold Park offers a memorable visitor experience at any time of year.
