At 11am, gather in the Museum courtyard to experience Nyumbi - a celebration of Nyoongar culture through song, dance and language. This free, 45-minute weekly performance invites visitors to connect with local Nyoongar performers as they share their rich culture and history. Each week, a different performance group leads a smoking ceremony and celebration dance.
12:30pm: Experience the magic of gold at The Perth Mint
Make your way to the The Perth Mint, a must see for locals and visitors alike. Join an hourly guided tour to experience the mesmerising journey of gold discovery in WA through interactive displays, photographs and artefacts and witness the spectacle of a live gold pour in The Perth Mint's original melting house.
