Day 1 | Eat, Drink and Explore

12pm: Stop by Core Cider for lunch and a sip of cider! Core Cider is an authentic farm venue that brings people together for farm-to-fork food, artisan cider, sweeping orchard views and on weekends, live music! Dine in the casual Orchard Bistro or enjoy a cider tasting in the cosy Harvest Room for 180-degree views of the orchard and surrounding forest. When it comes to the winter menu, think slow braised Margaret River beef brisket, bush pepper king oysters mushrooms and baked cider donuts. After lunch, discover where the magic happens in The Old Apple Shed. 

2pm: Visit The Packing Shed @ Lawnbrook in the heart of the Bickley Valley. This is a beautiful region of the Perth Hills surrounded by native bushland, orchards and vineyards. Visit the cellar door for tastings and sales, or head into the cosy restaurant for a glass of your favourite Lawnbrook Estate wine and barista-made coffee. Still peckish? The Packing Shed is dishing up a menu of seasonal farmhouse fare with a modern twist. Treat yourself to a generous gourmet cheese platter or signature house-made giant sausage rolls with relish.

3pm: Next up, MyattsField Vineyards. Stop in, taste some wine and grab a bottle for your night in the Perth Hills. MyattsField is a family-operated winery located in the picturesque Bickley Valley. Visit the cellar door for wine tasting, bottle sales and wine by the glass. Let the knowledgeable cellar door staff guide you through the extensive range of exclusive wines. Select from local and international cheeses to enjoy while relaxing on the veranda taking in the views of the valley.
