Kwinana Loop Trail

The Kwinana Loop Trail offers an exciting experience for walkers and mountain bikers alike, winding through Kwinana’s scenic coastal bushland on a mix of crushed limestone, concrete, sand, and asphalt paths. This accessible trail is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, featuring sections of wide, firm limestone for a comfortable walk or ride, as well as hillier, more challenging stretches.

Spectacles Banksia Trail

This 3.5 kilometre easy walk through The Spectacles Wetland in Beeliar Park passes through banksia, sheoak and grasstree vegetation. The Spectacles is 360 hectares of natural bush and wetland and is part of the chain of freshwater lakes on the Swan Coastal Plain known as Beeliar Regional Park. It is so named because it comprises two wetlands joined by a waterway, giving it the appearance of a pair of spectacles.

Spectacles Aboriginal Heritage Trail

The Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a five kilometre loop walk around the northernmost wetland of the Spectacles, within the Beeliar Regional Park and located in the City of Kwinana.  Interpretation panels along the trail explain the animals, flora and lifestyle of the original Aboriginal inhabitants. There is also a bird hide and two side paths through paperbarks.

Banksia Trail

The Banksia Trail is a 3.5-kilometre easy walk through The Spectacles, taking visitors through diverse vegetation, including banksia, sheoak, and grasstrees. This trail provides a peaceful immersion into the natural bush and wetland ecosystems of the area. Find out more.

Aboriginal Heritage Trail

The Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a five-kilometre loop within the northernmost wetland of the Spectacles, where visitors can explore and learn about the cultural and ecological significance of the area.
