The Colonial Gaol is a significant example of colonial architecture largely built by convict labour. Taylor's Cottage is another part of Guildford's Museum Precinct offering tours. Here you can wander through the rooms and imagine what it would have been like to have lived back in those times through the living quarters of the Taylor family.
