Here are the most widely anticipated events of the summer right here in Perth.

HSBC SVNS Perth 2024:

Coming to Perth (Boorloo) for the first time, the HSBC SVNS Perth event will be running 26-28 January 2024 for three days of non-stop entertainment. Come cheer on 12 of the top men’s and women’s international rugby sevens teams as they take the stage. Enjoy world-class rugby, live music, food markets and immersive entertainment. Not to mention cocktails and the iconic all-day Beach Club. It's the ultimate summer party vibe for sports fans or festival goers alike.

United Cup Tennis:

The world's best tennis players will be coming to WA this summer to compete in The United Cup. The event will be kicking off in Perth from 29 Dec 2023 - 3 Jan 2024. Featuring 6 days of singles and doubles action you won’t want to miss out. Perth will host top-ranked players from Serbia, Poland, Australia, the United States, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Spain and China and the Women's Tennis Association, with all matches to be played at RAC Arena. Here's your chance to catch the current men's world number 1 Novak Djokovic and current women's world number 2 Iga Swiatek as they team up to represent Serbia and Poland respectively, as well as local stars Alex de Minaur and Ajla Tomljanovic to represent Australia.

WWE Elimination Chamber:

Get ready for an electrifying night of entertainment as WWE returns to Australia with Elimination Chamber: Perth. Witness some of the biggest names in the professional wrestling industry, including Aussie hero and current world champion Rhea Ripley, as well as rising star Grayson Waller both returning to their home fans. WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth will be coming to Perth for an exclusive live event at Optus Stadium on Saturday, 24 February 2024. This will mark WWE’s first event in Australia since 2018 and the only Premium Live Event in the Asia-Pacific region in 2024! Tickets are on sale now.

Perth Festival Lotterywest Films:

Kick back under the stars and enjoy Perth’s stunning outdoor movie location with an incredible array of international cinema from Lotterywest Films at Perth Festival 2024. Find the iconic UWA Somerville Auditorium nestled within towering pine trees nearby the Swan River. It's a glorious setting for a date night, picnic with friends or family get-together in the open air. It’s no surprise this venue was ranked among the world’s top 20 outdoor cinemas by Time Out.

Lotterywest Films

Perth Summer Racing Carnival:

Held at Ascot Racecourse, the Perth Spring Racing Carnival began in October and finishes up on New Year's Day with the running of the Perth Cup. Within the Racing Carnival, there is a separate carnival, simply called The Pinnacles that spans five exhilarating race days with a total of $10.5 million in prize money to be won.

Fringe World Festival Perth:

Get ready for the massively popular FRINGE WORLD Festival as it kicks off from 19 January to 18 February 2024. The annual summer festival is a celebration of the arts enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people with an impressive array of entertainment spread across venues and locales throughout Perth. Enjoy cabarets, comedies, circus acts, live music and so much more. Not sure where to start? The iconic Pleasure Garden is always a lively meeting point with a variety of pop-up bars and bites, and a box office to browse what's on.

FRINGE WORLD Festival, Perth City

Big Bash League:

The Big Bash League (BBL) is set to return to Perth this summer from December to February 2024. Cricket fans can find all the major games at Optus Stadium with the Scorchers hosting their first home match against the Hobart Hurricanes on 20 December. Got any Boxing Day plans? Catch Match 15 as the Scorchers go up against the Melbourne Renegades. Or plan a January catch-up with matches against the Adelaide Strikers and the Brisbane Heat.

Twilight Food Market in Perth:
