Visiting airports can sometimes be stressful – whether you are jet-setting elsewhere from Perth or just arriving on our blissful shores, ready to discover all our natural and cultural delights.
We share our top tips for getting around Perth Airport to make your travels smoother.
Perth Airport terminals
Before you map your journey to Perth Airport, check your ticket to see which terminal your flight departs from. Perth Airport has two international terminals (T1 and T3), four domestic terminals (T1, T2, T3, and T4), and General Aviation.
Terminals 1 and 2 are in one precinct, and Terminals 3 and 4 and General Aviation are in a precinct a short 10-minute drive away. A complimentary terminal transfer bus is available from all terminals.
Getting to and from the airport
Getting to Perth Airport is easy by public transport, with frequent train and bus services connecting Perth's CBD and beyond. The Transperth Journey Planner is a fantastic tool for planning your trip.
Terminal 1/Terminal 2 precincts
Journeying to the Airport Central Station along the Airport Line takes 18 minutes from Perth Station. Once you have arrived at Airport Central Station, follow signs along the Skybridge walkaway for directions to Terminal 1 or 2.
You can also access the airport by bus. Bus route 37 operates between Airport Central and Oats Street Station on weekdays.
Taxis and rideshare
Taxis are available 24/7 to pick up arriving passengers.
All terminals have dedicated rideshare pick-up zones for Uber, DiDi and Ola.
Express pick up and drop off
Save some coins and use the Express Pick-up & Drop-off systems at T2, T3 and T4.
Long-term parking at Perth Airport
Long-term parking is an excellent option for longer trips. We recommend booking online early in advance to secure a discounted rate of up to 65%. Long-term parking is available at all terminals and is protected by CCTV and 24/7 patrols. A complimentary bus operates every 15 minutes to the terminal. Perth Airport offers 99 days for $99 when booked online with one entry and exit. Or, if you would like to take your time saying goodbyes, park for up to 4 hours for $10 in the long-term parking.
Once at the airport
Feeling the hunger pains? Save your holiday dollars and take advantage of value deals available at various food outlets at each terminal.
If your hair feels out of place, visit Ayre Hair. Australia's first airport hair salon located at T4 offers a range of services, including blow waves, barber cuts and manicures, so you can impress as soon as you land.
Travelling with a hidden disability
Passengers with hidden disabilities can receive extra support and assistance to make their travelling experience more manageable.
If you or a loved one has a hidden disability, you can request a Sunflower lanyard. This free service offers a discreet way to let airport staff know you may need help or guidance along the way and is recognised at airports worldwide.
Perth Airport offers customers free lanyards and wristbands, which can be requested online. Packs will be posted within 10 business days, so you are encouraged to place an order in advance.
Add some extra luxury to your airport visit
Reap lounge benefits without being an avid point collector or high-flyer. Aspire Lounge, located at Terminal 1 International, is a pay-per-use lounge with panoramic runway views. Relax and enjoy complimentary freshly prepared meals, premium Australian wines, fast and unlimited WIFI, shower rooms and a kid's play area.
Book in advance for discounted rates at $66 per adult and $44 per child. Walk-ins are also permitted at $77 per adult and $53 per child. Infants are free.
