Cap off the weekend that was joining in on a long time Perth tradition, the Sunday Session.

Yes, end the weekend (or start the week) on a high being a jolly patron, bevy in tow at one of Perth’s liveliest venues from city to sea.

Here, we reveal our favourite venues to toast the town and watch the sun go down for the ultimate Perth Sunday Session.

1. Bathers Beach House

Head to Perth’s only absolute beachfront restaurant, Bathers Beach House, in Fremantle. Go back and forth between lounging and swimming while enjoying a meal with toes in the sand. Share plates, grazing boards and mains are all served on the beach, so it’s easy to spend an afternoon at this laidback venue. Just make sure to pack your bathers!

The airy, music-inspired restaurant bar overlooks the hotel’s pool area, bringing summertime vibes all year round with its reclining lounges. Sip on cocktails curated by Australia’s renowned mixologist Tim Philips-Johansson and enjoy Perth’s splashiest urban sanctuary.

6. Little Creatures

A trip to Fremantle is not complete without popping into Little Creatures. The former Croc Museum, now a brewhouse institution, has been delivering some of the state’s most recognisable beers in a jolly fashion along Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour for over two decades.

Can’t decide on which beer to have? Become a beer judge by grabbing a tasting paddle. We recommend sitting in the outdoor beer garden along the coast to enjoy brews and sunset views. The family-friendly venue also has a playground area for the little ones to keep everyone entertained. Nice.

Find Little Creatures at 40 Mews Road, Fremantle.
