Surf Life Saving teams patrol the area on weekends, ensuring a safe swimming environment for all. 
 
Convenient facilities are located next to the car park, including toilet blocks, barbecues for a sizzling cook-off, and a playground for the young ones. Didn't pack a picnic? No worries. Multiple restaurants and cafes are a short stroll away to satisfy any hunger pains. 
 
You can also have Town Beach on your doorstep with a stay at Seashells Mandurah, which fringes Mandurah's beloved beach.

2.     Lido Beach, Dolphin Quay
 
Be in the centre of all the action while splashing about at Lido Beach. The man-made beach, also known as Marina South Harbour Beach, is conveniently within the entertainment marina Dolphin Quay, which offers shopping and a range of restaurants and cafes to suit all palates.
 
Pack a picnic as the beach is equipped with shelter and neighbours' family-friendly Keith Holmes Reserve. The grassed reserve area features playgrounds and barbecues, making it a top spot for families to relax and recharge for the day.

3.     Falcon Bay, Falcon
 
Drive 15 minutes south of Mandurah to arrive at Falcon Bay. This secluded bay faces north, with the beach largely protected from southerly winds, making it one of the region's beloved beaches.
 
Enjoy more than just a leisurely swim: Falcon Bay's peaceful waters are perfect for stand-up paddle boarding or snorkelling its reefs at high tide. Kids can test their jumping skills with a pontoon available in summer.
 
Beyond its sandy shores is a shaded grass area with picnic tables, barbecues, toilet/shower facilities and a playground for the kids to amuse themselves without sand between their toes! Stretching 1.4 kilometres, the Dawesville beach is a local favourite, attracting swimmers, surfers, and bodyboarders for its swell. With wooing adventurous oceangoers, Port Bouvard Surf Life Saving Club patrols Pyramids Beach over weekends to ensure safe conditions.
 
The beach has toilet/shower facilities and ample parking. If the ocean looks too rough to swim, opt for a coastal walk or cycle along the path weaving through dunes.

5.     Silver Sands Beach, Silversands
 
Enjoy your own expanse of sandy shoreline at Silver Sands Beach. The beach spans for kilometres, separated by a handful of seawalls. Find a spot to swim or chase the surf at 4th Groyne.

6.     Blue Bay, Halls Head
 
Go on an underwater discovery at Blue Bay. Located in Halls Head, a 13-minute drive southwest of Mandurah, the bay is perfect for snorkelling metres from shore. When the tide is out, the bay reveals plenty of rock pools.
 
There are toilet/shower facilities for added convenience. However, no shade is available, so please bring your own coverings to make the most of discovering this small oasis.

7.     Seascapes Beach, Halls Head
 
Breathe in the fresh, salty air with a stroll along Seascapes Beach. While the beach isn't ideal for swimming due to fringing reefs, there are some spots for a dip. 
 
Otherwise, appreciate this undisturbed part of the coast walking along the beach accompanied by your pooch.
 
Nearby is Pirate Park, a perfect spot for families to cook a barbecue feast and let the little ones enjoy themselves on playground equipment. Grab a bite or hot drink at Spill the Beans Cafe moments away.
