DAY 1: Arrival and Delights
Arrive at your serene weekend retreat in Dwellingup, surrounded by towering trees steeped in the town's timber history. Settle into your accommodation on the town's fringes, immersing yourself in nature. Take a leisurely stroll, spot wildlife and immerse yourself in tranquillity.
Start your weekend in style with a premium wine tasting experience at Redgum Wine Estate. Watch the sun set over the vineyard as you enjoy a glass or two of truly remarkable wines and dine on small nibbles or share a plate of farmhouse pate, bruschetta or cheese. Select a bottle from their collection to devour over the weekend. If you are after something a little larger venture to Longriders Café & Restaurant or the Dwellingup Community Hotel for dinner, before retreating for the night.
DAY 2: Nature Trails and Cultural Delights
Wake to nature’s symphony, stretch your limbs, and prepare for a day of exploration. Begin with a wholesome breakfast at a café in town, before heading to the Dwellingup Trails & Visitor Centre. Chat with the knowledgeable team and explore the interactive displays to help you select a hike that matches your energy. Alternatively, if a guided hike experience is more your style, Off The Beaten Track runs a number of tours in and around Dwellingup.
Embark on a section of the renowned Bibbulmun Track or take a short hike along the Marrinup Falls Walk Trail, which you’ll find peppered with wildflowers in the spring or flowing falls after the winter rains (June to early September). The nearby Marrinup POW Camp Trail offers a glimpse into the region's wartime history.

Follow the Emu Trail (by foot or by car) towards Dwellingup’s famous leaf-shaped building – the Forest Discovery Centre. Along the way, admire street murals and wander tiny boutiques including The Red Shed and With Love By Bec seeking treasures for home.
End your day with a ploughman's platter and small batch wines at Wine Tree Cidery. Share tales amidst orchards with roaming kangaroos and emus. After dinner, retreat to your accommodation and marvel at the stars glittering above.

DAY 3: Historical Discoveries in Pinjarra
Check out and embark on a scenic drive to Pinjarra through picturesque farmlands. Stop for a delightful brunch at a local café along the main street, then delve into the town's rich history with a sprinkle of retail therapy.
Explore Pinjarra's Heritage Walk Trail (1.2km), starting and ending at Edenvale Heritage Precinct, passing by 19 historic sites. Admire the vibrant new life these buildings have today, with boutiques and antique stores lining your path. Explore high fashion at D.D's Fashions, stunning homewares at The Crosswalk, hidden treasures at Blue Moon Collectables & Antiques or Ashdown & Webber and the wonderous art at Liveringa Gallery.
Next, discover the Bindjareb Maar art installation in Pinjarra’s town square, celebrating the local Nyungar people's rich culture. Take a moment learn about the shared stories of the community’s past, present and future, before continuing to the Exchange Hotel. Built c. 1866, this is one of Western Australia's oldest hotels, and is set to reopen in spring 2024. Indulge in one last memorable experience before bidding farewell and journeying back home.
