Mason and Bird Heritage Cycle Trail
Distance: 7km loop | Difficulty: Moderate
The Mason and Bird Heritage Trail follows the route of an 1870's tram way from Mason Mill to the Swan River. A fascinating ride that passes one of the earliest Mill sites in Perth, the oldest all-wooden bridge in Australia (still with wooden rails for the horse tramway) and the original source of Perth's drinking water.
Armadale Heritage Walk
This easy walk trail takes you past heritage buildings and old structures, such as Totterdell Cottage built in 1931. This walk is an interactive walk and great for children to learn more about the plants in Araluen. This walk is 600 metres long and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
