The grape vines are budding and it’s time to mark your calendars for the wine region’s most anticipated event of the season. Entwined is returning to the Swan Valley from October 4th to 27th 2024.
This year, the annual extravaganza is coming in hot with a sizzling program of events by the valley’s makers, growers and creators. They are throwing open their doors to greet guests with one-of-a-kind experiences, tours, long lunches, artisan markets, high teas and masterclasses to soak up the flavours, art and local culture of the Swan Valley.
With tailor-made events popping up, Entwined is designed for visitors to relish foodie experiences, unleash their inner artists, and create memories that will linger long after the last glass is raised.

Beekeeping Experience & Honey Masterclass
The House of Honey | Sunday 20th October
Discover the fascinating world of bees, including worker bees, drones, and the queen. This hands-on experience presented by The House of Honey is sure to amaze everyone! After the hive exploration, attendees will delve into the Honey Sensory Experience on the deck, guided by Western Australia’s only Honey Sommeliers. They will embark on a tasting journey, exploring various honey flavours and textures using the Honey Sensory Wheel.
In the "Worlds of Bees" segment, participants will have the chance to see the queen bee, view essential beekeeping equipment, and even hold a frame of bees for a memorable selfie. During the Honey Sensory Experience, they will learn sensory analysis methods to evaluate honey by colour, taste, flavour, and texture, while matching different honeys to the sensory wheel. This engaging session is hosted by beekeepers and globally accredited Honey Sommeliers Rupert and Kim Phillips, ensuring an informative and delightful experience for all. Book here.

The Longest Rosé Luncheon
Sandalford Wines | Saturday 5th October
The Longest Rosé Luncheon is dedicated to the pursuit – and perfection - of Rosé wine, starring both flamboyant Margaret River Rosé and Sandalford's vibrant 1840 Range Rosé.
Arrive at the Verdelho Lawn through an open arch of blush and pink florals to be seated under a ceiling of trailing grape vines in their flush of Spring. Snap your squad in front of the Looking Pink Instagram Wall, graze on two fabulous courses of Sandalford’s celebrated cuisine (including the most rose-coloured dessert buffet with pink candy and…yes, a fairy floss station!)
This will be the most Instagrammable event of Entwined in the Valley!

Fortified Blending Class with James Talijancich

Experience the exquisite art of Fortified Blending with Swan Valley specialist James Talijancich. Join him in the barrel room for an intimate session where a small group will learn the intricate process of blending and crafting liqueurs using the Solero method.
Throughout this engaging event, participants will sample premium aged wines and liqueurs, including exclusive barrel samples. James will also share the fascinating history of the Talijancich family and the significance of the Old Vine Charter, enriching your appreciation of Swan Valley’s winemaking heritage.

Kangaroo Safari Buggy Tour
