City Of Perth Australia Day Festival
Starting at 3pm on January 26, the City of Perth is hosting its annual Australia Day Festival, with activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Hosted on the Perth Foreshore, you can spend the afternoon chilling out to great music, enjoying the Lotterywest Entertainment Zone (food markets, amusements, water slides and more), experiencing a range of indigenous entertainment with the Birak Concert, browsing community stalls on the Supreme Court Gardens, and even catching a special Australia Day Air Show! Of course, it wouldn’t be Australia Day without some fireworks - the Skyworks display kicks off at 8pm and is the perfect way to end a day of celebration, togetherness and fun.
Australia Day In Rockingham
The City of Rockingham is hosting a range of celebrations at the foreshore this Australia Day, running from 5-8:45pm, with FREE ENTRY for all!
The event is family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free, with a range of food vans on site offering tasty food for everyone to enjoy. Enjoy a lineup of local musicians and talent (such as These Galahs, Guthrie Trio, Lights Out) on stage right up until the fireworks light up the sky at 8:30pm to end the night.
Australia Day In Armadale
The City of Armadale is also hosting Australia Day this year at Minnawarra Park from 5-9:30pm.
There’ll be carnival rides, a free family activity area, a variety of tasty food stalls and a full program of live music showcasing some of WA's incredible local talent, and fireworks at the end of the night while a soundtrack of Aussie music is played!
As per Government regulations, attendees over the age of 16 will need to be fully vaccinated or have a valid exemption. Please refer to www.wa.gov.au for accurate information on the regulations. Documentation will be checked at entry points. This event is ticketed to enable the tracking of event numbers and to contact ticket holders directly should there be a need to.
Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival
Nothing is more Aussie than the beach, which is why the Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival is the perfect place to be on January 26!
The annual celebrations include live music and entertainment (Milford St Shakers, The Two Cent Professionals, Jazzie Shazzies Children Show and the Binjareb Middars Aboriginal Dance Group), activities in the park (free sausage sizzle, water amusement rides and slides, the South Coogee Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade demos), food and drink vans galore, and even mermaids and a sand castle competition on the beach! Oh, and plenty of sun, sand and water to enjoy as well of course!
The festival runs from 8am-12pm over at the Coogee Beach Reserve - no tickets needed!
Outback Splash's Australia Day Party 2022
2022 will be the 6th annual Australia Day Party at Perth's Outback Splash, complete with a live DJ, free Aussie tattoos, heaps of prizes, watermelon eating competition, a traditional backyard sausage sizzle and more!
The park is open from 10am-5pm, with tickets available on the day or online ahead of time, so get yours now!
Reflect Respect Celebrate Australia Day Community Breakfast
Australia Day is also a time for reflection, which is what the Reflect Respect Celebrate Australia Day Community Breakfast is all about.
From 8:30-10:30am, you’ll be able to sing & dance along with Aboriginal and multicultural performers, and enjoy face painting, Aboriginal cultural activities and a breakfast sausage sizzle. Don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket, hat and sunscreen to make the most out of the morning.
This event is free but tickets are essential. Check-in on the SAFEWA App will be required for entry.
Australia Day Summer Cocktail Party At Fraser's Restaurant
If your idea of fun involves lots of food and drink, then the Australia Day Summer Cocktail Party at Fraser's Restaurant is for you!
Bookings are priced at $165 for adults, $75 for teens (12 - 17) and $50 for kids (up to 12), and include FIVE food stations, canapes, a beverage package, special parking, DJ entertainment, a kids corner and face painting! Once you’re done eating and drinking, you can then head over to the South Perth Foreshore where there’s an area fenced off for guests to enjoy the fireworks.
Australia Day At UMA
