Perth's tourism offering continues to expand, with a number of new experiences, attractions and hospitality developments set to launch in 2026.
These new openings highlight the region's diversity - from cultural landmarks and coastal hospitality to immersive wildlife and adventure experiences - all contributing to the continued growth of Perth's visitor economy. Hyde Perth
Opening: March 2026
Location: Perth CBD
Bringing a touch of bohemian chic to the city, Hyde Perth will open in March 2026 with 121 guest rooms, 18 suites, two event spaces and a Mediterranean-inspired poolside setting. The hotel's signature restaurant and bar, Farra, will offer bold Greek flavours and inventive cocktails, celebrating local produce and Western Australia's relaxed coastal energy. Designed for connection and creativity, Hyde Perth will feature live music, curated art and a vibrant social atmosphere in the heart of the CBD.

Dunes Beach Resort

Currently under construction, Dunes Beach Resort will deliver a new beachfront venue combining quality dining, glamping accommodation and community leisure spaces. The project aims to create a premier coastal retreat for locals and visitors, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Guests can expect relaxed beachside hospitality, family-friendly facilities and unique accommodation that captures the essence of Western Australia's coastal lifestyle.

Gladstones Premium Wine Bar at Crown Perth
Opening: 2026 (Under Construction)
Location: Crown Perth, Perth City
Crown Perth has commenced construction on Gladstones, a 50-seat luxury wine bar celebrating Western Australia's wine heritage. The intimate venue will feature a curated selection of premium local and international wines in a space inspired by WA's natural landscapes and named in honour of Dr John Gladstones AO, whose pioneering research established the Margaret River wine region. Gladstones forms part of Crown Perth's largest investment in more than a decade, alongside the upcoming Urban Food District - a contemporary dining and entertainment precinct near Optus Stadium and Crown Theatre. Together, these projects will further strengthen Crown Perth’s position as one of Western Australia's premier hospitality destinations.

Ocean Reef Marina
Opening (First Stages): 2026
Location: Ocean Reef, Sunset Coast
The transformative Ocean Reef Marina development continues to progress, bringing a new era of waterfront recreation and leisure to Perth's northern suburbs. 2026 will see the release of the first residential lots and the opening of the central parkland area, paving the way for this long-term $272 million State Government-backed project. When complete, Ocean Reef Marina will feature a 50-metre coastal pool, vibrant dining precinct, and over 1,000 dwellings - creating a new coastal destination for Perth.

Yanchep Beach Club
Opening: December 2025
Location: Yanchep, Sunset Coast
Set to open in late 2025, Yanchep Beach Club will bring a new coastal dining and events destination to Perth's northern beaches. Designed for up to 300 guests, the venue will feature indoor and alfresco spaces with panoramic Indian Ocean views. Created by Ryan and Nikki Esqulant , owners of Hillarys Beach Club and Bar Olé, Yanchep Beach Club will offer vibrant social dining and memorable event experiences.

Long Point Brewing Co.
Opening: Early 2026
Location: Kennedy Bay Foreshore, Sunset Coast
Located on the Kennedy Bay foreshore, Long Point Brewing Co. will open as a two-storey coastal gastro-brewery with capacity for 500 guests. The venue will offer handcrafted beers, wood-fired pizzas and flame-grilled dishes enjoyed with sweeping ocean views. With its family-friendly design, function areas and event calendar, Long Point Brewing Co. is set to become a vibrant new social hub for the southern coastal corridor.

Baillie Hill
Opening: January 2026
Location: Victoria Park, Perth City
This summer, East Victoria Park will welcome the grand opening of Baillie Hill - a $25 million lifestyle precinct that blends history, hospitality, and community in one vibrant destination. Built on one of Western Australia's most historically significant maternity sites, Baillie Hill has been carefully reimagined into a modern, walkable village designed for locals and visitors alike. The project delivers a unique mix of venues and public spaces while preserving the heritage of the landmark site. Baillie Hill will offer an array of food and beverage experiences to suit every mood is set to become the new social heart of East Victoria Park.

ORA Sorrento
Opening: 2026
Location: Sorrento, Sunset Coast
ORA Sorrento will redefine coastal living and leisure with a new mixed-use development designed around the concept of barefoot luxury. The precinct will feature landscaped public spaces, boutique hospitality and a resort-style podium with amenities including a gym, yoga room, sauna, steam room, and a heated ocean-view pool. With its seamless connection to the coast and focus on wellbeing, ORA Sorrento will become a destination for relaxation and social connection by the sea.

Bar Olé Applecross & The Heart Applecross
Opening: March & May 2026
Location: Applecross Foreshore, Perth
In 2026, the Applecross foreshore will welcome a vibrant new riverfront hospitality precinct with the opening of Bar Olé Applecross in March, followed by The Heart Applecross in May. Located on the ground floor of the Riviere Residences overlooking the Swan River, the two venues will together deliver nearly 800 square metres of premium dining and social space. Bar Olé Applecross brings a modern Spanish-inspired tapas experience with lively alfresco dining, while The Heart Applecross offers an upmarket pub-style venue combining classic comfort fare with contemporary flair. Designed as a new social hub for both locals and visitors, the precinct promises sweeping river views, expansive outdoor areas and a relaxed yet refined setting for dining, drinks and gathering by the water. These new venues are the latest additions to the ELG Australia, which also includes Hillarys Beach Club, Bar Olé Iluka, Yanchep Beach Club & summer pop up, Sorrento Beach Club.

Perth Sky Sculpture Park
Opening: Spring 2026
Location: Perth Observatory, Perth Hills
A major new cultural landmark is set to elevate the Perth Hills with the launch of Perth Sky Sculpture Park, transforming the historic Perth Observatory into a world-class destination celebrating contemporary sculpture, nature and astronomy. Developed by local artists and supported by the City of Kalamunda, the park will open with a Biennial Awards Exhibition featuring Australia's largest prize pool for contemporary sculpture, positioning it as a leading cultural tourism attraction.

Perth Film Studios
Opening: Early 2026
Location: Malaga, Swan Valley
Perth Film Studios is the first large-scale facility dedicated to screen production in Western Australia; purpose-built to support local and international film, television, and digital projects at every scale. Located just 30 minutes from Perth's CBD and 15 minutes from the airport, the versatile facility features 4 soundstages, dedicated production office suites, workshops, and a 5.7 acre backlot designed for creative control and flexibility. Backed by the WA Government, Perth Film Studios plays a central role in expanding industry capacity, attracting productions global, national and local, and delivering economic growth through screen innovation.

Perth Surf Park
Opening: 2027
Location: Cockburn
The Perth Surf Park is an A$100 million integrated sports, leisure and tourism development proposed for Cockburn. The Perth Surf Park will deliver an innovative surf sports, recreation, leisure and entertainment hub for Western Australia, just a short drive south from the Perth CBD. Using the world's leading wave generating technology – the Wavegarden 'Cove' – the Perth Surf Park's surfing lagoon will deliver up to 1,000 authentic, ocean-like waves every hour for surfers of all abilities. Open day and night, year-round, the surfing lagoon will be complemented by a boutique hotel, a health, fitness and wellness centre, co-working offices, functions and events spaces, a high performance surf academy, a beach club and quality bars and restaurants.
