Rottnest Fast Ferries, a Western Australian owned and operated ferry company has recently added a new ferry to their existing fleet.
Designed by Australian firm Incat Crowther and constructed by Austal Australasia, the brand new, state of the art catamaran is 32 metres long and named Ocean Master. This is the first purpose built ferry for Rottnest Island since 1999 and can carry up to 400 passengers and five crew seated over three decks.
Rottnest Fast Ferries depart from Hillarys Boat Harbour in Perth’s northern coastal suburbs. The Ocean Master promises a fast and relaxing 40 minute journey over to the iconic Rottnest Island / Wadjemup.
