Rottnest Cruises has received recognition on a national and international scale for their Luxe Island Seafood Cruise.
The Luxe Island Seafood Cruise was featured in The Daily Telegraph's list of the 100 most delicious food experiences in Australia (7 February), in Yahoo! Life's global article "The Cruises Foodies NEED to Add to Their Bucket List" (13 January), and on the Food Wine Travel website's "Eat Your Heart Out on These Top Food and Wine Cruises" (5 December).
It has also been ranked by Tourism Australia as one of the top three "must-do experiences" in Western Australia.
Sea West is a family-run business which operates all around Western Australia. Their Luxe Island Seafood Cruise departs from Rottnest Island / Wadejump and is held on a 69 foot, three-level deluxe charter vessel and is crewed by locals. Part of the appeal of the cruise is the chance to have the unique experience of catching your own Western Rock Lobster and pulling up the lobster pots. The four-hour epicurean odyssey menu was designed by executive chef Tony Howell to showcase the best of Western Australian produce.
