Perth venues Gibney and Mayfair Lane Pub & Dining Room have been recognised at the 2026 Australia's Wine List of the Year Awards, an awards program for wine and beverage lists established in 1993.
Gibney received Best Wine List Western Australia for the third time and was one of four finalists for 2026 Australia's Wine List of the Year. The Cottesloe venue also received The Peter Forrestal Award for Australia's Best Listing of Western Australian Wines, recognising its selection of Western Australian labels.
Overlooking Cottesloe Beach, Gibney is a brasserie grill from restaurateur George Kailis, with a menu inspired by old-world brasseries and steakhouses. Its offering focuses on seafood, steak, house-made pasta and other dishes showcasing Western Australian producers, complemented by its extensive wine list.
Mayfair Lane Pub & Dining Room received Australia's Best Wine List, Sommeliers' Choice Award, voted on by sommeliers entering the awards program. The West Perth venue is led by owner and sommelier Foni Pollitt.
Inspired by the character of a classic London local, Mayfair Lane combines a neighbourhood pub and dining room, with a focus on food, wine and relaxed hospitality. The venue also hosts celebrations, weddings, wine tastings and other private and group occasions.
