Fields of vibrant purple and handcrafted delights have united for a sensory feast with the opening of Lavender Estate in Yanchep – now Western Australia’s largest operating lavender farm.
Following an extensive transformation of the former Yanchep Lavender Farm, the 26-acre Carabooda property retains its signature fragrant crops - 44 rows stretching 300 metres - and has expanded into a welcoming agritourism destination for local and international visitors.
Set among picturesque surrounds, Lavender Estate features a casual café, shaded playground, and boutique retail store offering products infused with homegrown botanicals. Visitors can explore at their own pace, enjoy relaxed share-style dining, and sample favourites like lavender ice cream, scones with jam and cream, and lavender tea.
The farm also offers walks, distillation demonstrations, harvest visuals, and seasonal pop-up events for an immersive experience. The refreshed retail range showcases how lavender can scent or soothe - from sleep sprays and skincare to teas, candles, and culinary items - with a Shopify-powered online store now delivering Australia-wide.
Located just 20 minutes north of Joondalup, beside Yanchep National Park, Lavender Estate is a charming and accessible day-trip destination all year round.
