Destination Perth is pleased to introduce the Northern Valleys as the tenth tourism region across our consumer-facing channels.
Bringing together the Shires of Gingin, Chittering and Victoria Plains, the Northern Valleys showcases a diverse mix of countryside, coastline, heritage and nature-based experiences, creating a distinctive destination that reflects the way visitors naturally explore this part of the Perth region. From the white sands of Lancelin, to rolling farmland, wildflowers, local produce, heritage towns and Australia's only monastic town of New Norcia, the Northern Valleys offers visitors an authentic regional experience just beyond the city.
The introduction of the Northern Valleys provides a stronger regional identity that celebrates the area's unique visitor experiences while making it easier for travellers to discover, plan and explore everything the region has to offer. As part of this launch, Destination Perth has introduced a dedicated Northern Valleys destination page, showcasing the region's unique experiences and products.
The launch also includes updates across Destination Perth's website content, itineraries and marketing collateral to ensure the Northern Valleys is consistently represented across our consumer channels. We look forward to working with local governments, tourism operators and industry partners to showcase the Northern Valleys and inspire more visitors to discover this unique part of Destination Perth.
