The Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA) has reached a major milestone, welcoming its 10 millionth visitor since opening.

The milestone visitor, Caitlin from Bicton, visited the attraction with her husband Jackson and daughter Lucy on 4 March to celebrate Lucy’s first birthday, where the family was surprised with a commemorative presentation and awarded a lifetime of free entry along with a $500 gift card.

Located in Hillarys, AQWA offers visitors an underwater journey along Western Australia’s coastline, showcasing the marine life found across the state’s southern, temperate and tropical waters. The milestone reflects decades of support from local residents as well as visitors from across Australia and around the world.
