ANZAC Day

Commemorate ANZAC Day with events and services across Perth on 25 April.

The 25th of April is set aside as a public holiday for Australians to remember the bravery of the men and women who fought in war. ANZAC was the term given to the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula early on the morning of 25 April 1915 during the First World War. On ANZAC Day, all over the country, in the cities and towns, no matter how small, Australians gather together at ANZAC memorials to honour those who gave their lives for our country.

Check back early next year for what's on for ANZAC Day 2026.
