Perth Hills Pedal and Pint Trail

Bring your bike and your friends and hit the Pedal and Pint Trail!

Escape the city into the Perth Hills and explore the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail on mountain bike. Get a group of friends or family together and explore the historical taverns and townships along the way.

There are 59km of trail to explore, consisting of a main 41km loop, and a spur line which goes from Mount Helena, passing through the settlement of Chidlow to Wooroloo. The Pedal and Pint Trail is the main 41km loop. Explore the whole trail in a day, or sections at a time and visit the heritage listed pubs to enjoy cold drink and bite to eat. If pubs are not your thing, there are also a number of cafés and other attractions to explore along the way.

What makes this trail unique is the number of old taverns, once watering holes for weary rail passengers and settlement workers, each with its own stories, character, and charm! Stop off to refuel along the way and enjoy some Perth Hills hospitality while you explore the trail by bike. A true community effort, between 5 historic taverns and hotels, accommodation providers, cafes, and attractions, the Pedal and Pint trail will take you on a journey around Perth Hills Mundaring, using the main loop of the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail.
