This nearly 200 year-old region is packed with more than 150 attractions, including world-class food and drink, markets and picturesque natural beauty. The best part? It’s only a 25 minute drive from Perth.

To help you plan your next escape to the Swan Valley, we’ve created the ultimate itinerary for a romantic getaway, girls’ trip or a wholesome weekend away with your closest pals.

Day 1 | Let’s trail!

Today, you’re invited to embark on a journey of world-class artisan produce handmade in the Swan Valley. Get set to experience the best of the Swan Valley on the Sweet Temptations Trail, a mouth-watering artisan adventure. Sample the finest French macarons, scrumptious nougat, gourmet nuts, delicious cakes, handmade chocolate and pure honey sourced straight from the hive. But it doesn’t stop there. The Swan Valley Sweet Temptations Trail includes signature fortified wines and sparkling moscato handcrafted by local winemakers.

Join the Beekeepers at The House of Honey to learn about the importance and history of Australian beekeeping. The House of Honey is a sanctuary for local bees and hives with an onsite cafe, bee safaris, workshops, tours and more.

Olive Farm Wines is WA’s oldest winery and offers an extensive range of fortified wines, sweet and dry sparkling, and white and red table wines.

Discover the secrets, traditions and free tastings of Mondo Nougat as you watch the magic happen from the special viewing area. Then, be tempted by the range of homemade treats and warm up with a Mondo Nougat deluxe hot chocolate.

Next up on the trail is Morish Nuts. Here, you can sample handcrafted roasted premium Australian nuts with natural flavours. Witness the art of confectionery-making through the viewing window before tasting the delicious products. Highly addictive and delicious, the nuts come in various sweet and savoury combinations including wasabi macadamias, hot and spicy cashews and coffee-glazed macadamias.
