Sittella's Restaurant is open from Tuesday – Sunday for lunch from 10am till 4pm.
Sittella's cellar door is open from Tuesdays till Sundays 10 am – 4.00 pm. We recommend to book for a tasting experience. Both the restaurant and cellar door will apply the latest COVID-19 rules for entering the venue.
The first vines were planted in 1993 on the Herne Hill property by Simon and Maaike Berns. Varietes then were Verdelho,Chardonnay, Chenin blanc and Shiraz.
Sittella's restaurant and winery was officially opened in October 1998 and a later addition was its cellar door. The restaurant became increasingly popular with its views over the veranda and popular menu. It became necessary to expand Sittella once more into "The Nest", a small intimate wine café, adjacent to the restaurant where you also can order from the restaurant menu. Sittella currently crushes fruit from their own Estate in the Swan Valley and their Wilyabrup vineyard in Margaret River (180 tonnes).
In the last few years, national and local accolades have been pouring in for a wide range of our wine styles and Sittella won trophies for Sparkling, White, Red and fortified wines.
