The Motor Museum of Western Australia is in beautiful Whiteman Park just 30 mins drive northeast of Perth’s CBD on the way to the iconic Swan Valley. Open 364 days a year from 10.00am to 4.00pm, it is a not-for-profit trust housing one of the largest collections of motor vehicles and motoring memorabilia in Australia. With over 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles (all undercover) dating from 1898’s though to the present day, it’s simply a nostalgia high, a car enthusiasts nirvana.
Their team of dedicated and passionate volunteers will ensure that your visit to the museum is a memorable one by imparting of their knowledge. The museum is also home to the largest museum collection of die cast models in Australia ranging in sizes from 1-12th to 1.64th, show casing over 12,000 models of every make and genre in perfect detail. Check out our excellent reference library that has over 19,500 books, magazines and workshop manuals dating back to 1897 to modern day.
Visitors can view the exhibits at their leisure or join a 45-minute guided tour to hear about the collection in greater detail. Tours occur twice daily at 11am and 2pm and are included in the entry price.
